The Self-Balancing Unciycle

the SBU V3
[post 255]

First a robot juggler, now this. What'll they think of next?

Many of you out there no doubt remember the 500 times in a row you fell off your first unicycle before managing to ride it 50 feet. Well, now there's an app for that. Using technology similar to the Segway, the SBU V3 requires no pedal power, no advanced balancing skills, and hits speeds up to 15 mph (24.1 km/h). See for yourself...

Notice how your feet just rest on those platforms? I think they should provide fake pedals so that at least you can pretend you're powering it!

For more information, click here. What's that you say? How much does it cost? Why, only $17.95!

Oops! I guess I read that wrong. Actually it's $1,795. Oh, well. So much for looking cool.

Thanks to David Rosenak for the link!
